The interactive dashboards below show the market conditions that influence the price of fuel in British Columbia (BC) each month. The dashboards display monthly changes to crude oil prices, retail margin, retail prices, and refining margins, which affect the province's fuel prices. BC fuel prices are also compared to nearby jurisdictions.
The dashboards also include the cities in BC and Canada with the highest average retail price increase for gasoline this month. Check back often as regular updates are made to this page as additional data is collected.
Visit our Price Factors page to see information for long term trends that impact BC fuel prices and how fuel prices compare from city to city within the province. To learn more about the work the BCUC is doing to monitor and investigate fuel prices in BC, see our Special Projects page.

The fuel price data in Dashboards 1, 2, 4, 5 is publicly available on the Kalibrate Canada Inc. ((Kalibrate), formerly Kent Group Ltd.) website . Kalibrate collects retail fuel pricing data at a set time each day in the morning. The BCUC's Gasoline and Diesel Prices Inquiry Report identified that the practice of canvassing the retail fuel prices at a specific time each morning may not reflect the price most fuel volume is being sold each day. We are exploring other potential data sources.
